Susanna grew up on the outskirts of Sydney, spending much of her childhood exploring the local bushland and the Hawkesbury River - experiences that shaped an enduring connection to the natural environment. She now lives on the NSW Central Coast, where she enjoys the beaches, bushland and waterways with her family.

With a degree in Environmental Science, Susanna has spent more than two decades working across the environmental and not-for-profit sectors, with experience spanning conservation, organisational strategy, governance and implementation.

She previously served as CEO of the Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife, working with governments, philanthropists, landholders and conservation partners to support conservation initiatives across Australia. More recently, her consulting work has focused on helping government and not-for-profit environmental organisations navigate complex challenges, strengthen partnerships and turn strategy into practical action.

Susanna was drawn to BioDiversity Legacy’s innovative, community-led approach to conservation and its focus on creating practical pathways for long-term land protection.

As Implementation Pathway Manager, Susanna is helping landholders, communities and partner organisations navigate pathways to land protection. She particularly enjoys bringing people together around a shared vision and turning complex ideas into practical, achievable outcomes.

Susanna is excited by the opportunity to help create lasting structures and partnerships that protect land for generations to come.
